About - IxDA Nederland

IxDA is a member-supported organization, dedicated to the discipline of interaction design. Since 2003, IxDA has grown into a global network of more than 100,000 individuals and over 200 local groups. IxDA Nederland was a local branch of the global Interaction Design Association since 2007.

Our Mission

We believe that the human condition is increasingly challenged by poor experiences. IxDA intends to improve the human condition by advancing the discipline of Interaction Design.
To do this, we foster a community of people that choose to come together to support this intention. IxDA relies on individual initiative, contribution, sharing and self-organization as the primary means for us to achieve our goals.

• Design by Fire Café - meetups;
• Design by Fire Workshops;
• Redux-events - Mini conferences looking back at the annual global Interaction conference;
• Intervision groups - small groups of interaction designers sharing knowledge and more on a regular base.
